Play Park – Maintenance Update – temporary delay to repairs

Following earlier reports on the repairs needed to get the zip wire back in operation (including dealing with the woodpecker damage!), the swing seat maintenance and also dealing with the damage as a result of the suspected vandalism damage to the play fort, we are awaiting the final reports from two UK suppliers of play equipment after they have assessed the work needed.

The costs to carry out the complete works recommended (which includes re-tensioning the zip wire) have come in higher than anticipated and two of the Parish Councillors have now agreed to assess this and reach a decision as to how best proceed as soon as possible. We will issue further updates when available and try to get this resolved as soon as possible.
