Play Park – notice of removal of Zip Wire Swing due to shock absorber damage
Unfortunately during the weekly safety inspection of the play area on 30th March 2021 the following emergency works were carried out:
The Zip wire swing has had to be removed because the shock absorber on the mechanism had snapped and therefore the equipment is currently unsafe for use.

Update: The spare parts to repair the mechanism have been sourced but unfortunately the parts are not available in the UK and have to be ordered from a supplier in Germany. This may delay the repairs and the zip wire will be out of operation until the parts arrive and we can repair the assembly. We are contacting two play equipment installers in the UK to get recommendations regarding ongoing repair and maintenance.
