The application submitted will be reported to the Planning Committee on 7th July 2021 at 1.00pm. The agenda which confirms this, will be published five working days prior to the meeting on the ECDC website. Since the introduction of restrictions on gatherings of people by the Government in March 2020 it was not possible to hold standard face to face public meetings at the Council Offices. This led to a temporary legislation enabling remote meetings which came to an end on 6 May 2021. Meetings must now be held in person and in compliance with COVID-19 restrictions.

In light of the above, the appropriate risk assessments have been carried out and to ensure that Planning Committee can be held in person and in compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, the Planning Committee meeting will take place at The Hive Leisure Centre, 15 Downham Road, Ely, CB6 2FE.
