Antisocial Behaviour Problems
We have been provided with the following news from Mepal’s Neighbourhood Watch
- Criminal damage and graffiti is now being seen around the play parks in Littleport, adults drinking on the bench at the Harley and youths in Littleport are also causing general ASB. A member of the Neighbourhood watch team, a Littleport youth worker and a member of the local policing team recently conducted community engagement around Littleport to reassure residents and encourage them to report any incidents.
- Burwell are seeing a number of fires being set with a plastic bench set on fire and destroyed and grass and trees damaged by fire.
- Bottisham report ASB around the school, and bus stops.
- Soham report ASB at the Recreation ground and skate park and at the train station.
- Ely are seeing an increase in graffiti including offensive and racist, also the Ely leisure centre has seen an increase in ASB in the form of inappropriate driving around the leisure centre and surrounding roads.
