Please be advised that during lockdown the Parish Council will not be posting on the physical noticeboards in the village to cut down on all non-essential trips. We are in a vital phase of the virus epidemic and we all need to try to avoid leaving home if possible and only make essential trips out.

The general Parish Council Coronavirus assistance information can be read here but we are concerned about the amount of litter in the Play Area on 5th January. We took the decision not to close the play area this time because we do understand how difficult the situation is for young children and teenagers – but please do not abuse the facilities.

Please can we ask all users of the Recreation Field Play area to take any rubbish home with them during these difficult times. One of the Parish Councillors was forced to do an emergency litter pick whilst walking her dog and we want to urge all residents to take responsibility for their own litter. Ideally take it home with you, but if not please do not just fly tip – put the litter in the bin. Please can we ask you all to make sure your children act responsibly at this difficult time.

You must stay at home. The single most important action we can all take is to stay at home to protect the NHS and save lives. You should follow this guidance immediately and make sure your children also follow the rules. Whilst exercise is allowed. please follow the published guidance in terms of when you can leave home.

Exercise

You can continue to exercise alone, with one other person or with your household or support bubble. This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.You should maintain social distancing. See exercising and meeting other people.
