Environment Agency: Ouse Washes Bank raising works – Welney road closure update
Please see below an update on the Welney Barrier and road closure.
Good News! The weather has been on our side and this year’s work is currently going well. Fingers crossed it will continue.
The works required to be carried out under the road closure at Welney are nearly complete and the road is due to open, as programmed, tomorrow Thursday 25 August at 5.30pm.
The road will open with two way traffic lights from 25/08/2022 to 16/09/2022.
The barrier work is programmed to be completed by the end of September. As always we will keep you updated with progress.
Don’t forget! If you have any questions you can visit us at the Lamb & Flag on Thursday between 3pm & 5pm. This will be our last surgery event although we will still be around on site at Welney to help.
