Football has returned to Mepal

We are excited to say that after a very long time football has returned to Mepal after the formation of the new Mepal and Sutton Football Club to combine the mens, ladies and youth teams of Mepal and Sutton.

Please can we all ensure that we are clearing up after our four legged friends and disposing of the bags correctly and remember to walk dogs only on the perimeter of the field so that adults and child footballers can enjoy their games without worrying about what they might stand on.

Both of the Mens senior Teams have played their first games on Saturday 2nd and 9th September and we look forward to welcoming the youth teams later this month and the ladies team after that. A big thank you goes out to the managers of the new merged club for working so hard to get to this stage, and I am sure if anyone would like to offer their help to maintain the pitches in future that the football club would welcome any offers.
