Maintenance on Recreation Field Drainage Lines

Following a number of years of discussion, at the Parish Council meeting held on 29th July 2020, a resolution was passed to allocate some of the built-up reserves to bring the surface of the field up to a safe standard for all. This is not about football – although our long-suffering footballers will hopefully benefit from the work – it is about having a useable field for everyone.

We have a full renovation and maintenance plan agreed until January 2022, and we hope to allow sports to be played by Autumn 2021. We hope the whole village will support this and that we can all provide some better activities for all ages once the work is complete.
