Mepal Parish Council Play Park Closure Notice

The play park on the recreation field remains closed whilst the parish council carry out essential safety related maintenance. Unfortunately this work is delayed indefinitely due to continuous littering, vandalism and uncontrolled dog littering of the enclosed area.

Please do not put your child or yourself at risk by forcing entry into the park. Damage to the locks, removal of notices and unauthorised access is considered vandalism and will further delay re-opening of the park. Parents please explain this to any teenage children so that they understand the situation

We had hoped to open the park in early October but are now having to try to clear up broken glass that has been dumped around the equipment and will only be able to open the park when it safe to do so and in line with any government guidance and stipulations.
