Mepal Warm Hub at the Village Hall in conjunction with the Parish Council

Mepal Parish Council and the Village Hall Committee were both accepted for the Cambridgeshire ACRE Warm Hubs initiative. After discussions regarding the ongoing ability for both organisations to be able to provide the required minimum 2 volunteers for every session in order to qualify for the funding, and in view of the fact that some local villages, who applied later than Mepal are on the waiting list, it was decided that the Parish Council would release their place and would instead support the Village Hall, with Councillors putting their names down as volunteers.
