NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF PARISH COUNCILLOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972

that Ms Rebecca Margieson, formerly a member of the above-named Parish council has ceased to be a member thereof and that a casual vacancy exists in the office of councillor for the said Parish.

If, within 14 days* after the date of this notice, a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the proper officer of the East Cambridgeshire District Council by ten electors for the said Parish an election will be held to fill the vacancy; otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by the Parish council.
