Please keep dogs ON LEAD on the recreation field at ALL TIMES

We would remind some dog owners that access to the recreation field is subject to keeping your dogs on lead at all times and once again we are finding multiple instances of fouling and this must stop. There is a dog bin at both ends of the field, so there is no excuse not to pick up and properly dispose of all dog mess.

We are concerned that if some dog owners refuse to obey the rules then sadly the request from some villagers to ban dogs completely from the recreation field will again be proposed and this is likely to have an negative impact on the vast majority of responsible dog walkers using the perimeter of the field as advised in the notices.
