Public Consultation – Community engagement and support questionnaire
East Cambridgeshire District Council has recently updated its Vulnerable Communities Strategy and Community Engagement Strategy and is now in the process of updating its Vulnerable Communities Directory and Community Engagement Toolkit to sit alongside these.
The aim of the Vulnerable Communities Directory to provide information on the services and support available in East Cambridgeshire, which can be accessed by officers who are assisting individuals in need. The Directory will outline the services and support provided both by the Council and known external organisations, addressing a variety of matters that could help prevent or respond to issues which could cause somebody vulnerability. The Directory will contain contact information and useful links where further information can be found.
In addition to this, the Community Engagement Toolkit will assist officers in engaging effectively with all members of the community and help us to identify any barriers or additional considerations.
In order help to ensure that the directory and toolkit are as useful as possible and that nothing is missed, we want to know what issues local people are facing, what support they may need, and how agencies can best engage with them.
