The annual delivery of black bags

East Cambs Street Scene are starting the annual delivery of black bags.

It should take no longer than 8 weeks and they expect to finish by 31 August.  ECSS are using a digital system with mapping, to minimise the chance of missing a delivery but there will probably be the odd few missed.  Residents will then have a month to report a missed delivery (therefore by end of September).

The additional benefit of using the digital system is that should a resident notice their neighbour has had a delivery and they have not, our Customer Services Team can check and ask ECSS to redeliver immediately, rather than asking the resident to wait until all deliveries have been completed before reporting.

As well as the annual delivery, the calendar of collection dates will be sent separately during the first two weeks of September.   There is a message on that calendar explaining that the sacks are delivered separately and letting them know the cut off date by which to report a missed delivery.
